CERAMIC

Ceramic artifacts discovered in archaeological excavations are most often limited to fragments of vases and pipes. The vases allow us to learn about the production methods used during prehistory, while the carbonized remains tell us about the types of diet of ancient populations. In addition, the decorations of vases indicate the existence of a style which spreads out over several centuries.

Thanks to the fact that I master several production techniques (use of local clay, the addition of tempers, primitive firing, etc…), I am able to reproduce, with help of fragments, the exact replica of an original artifact.

By using contemporary materials and firing ovens, I can also supply more resistant replicas, which are suited for handling. According to your requirements, I am able to reproduce among others:

– vases
– pipes of any kinds
– beads for necklaces
– dices for games
– figurines depicting the diferent ways of the first nations
